Terms of Use | Live Time

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Live Time ("the Platform"), operated by Live Time Technologies, Inc., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Live Time is an event management and social platform that enables users to create, discover, and attend events. The Platform provides tools for event creation, ticketing, group management, membership dues collection, and related services.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
Post false, misleading, or fraudulent event listings
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its systems
Use automated means to access or scrape the Platform without permission
Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
Upload viruses, malware, or other malicious code

5. Event Hosting & Ticketing

Event hosts are responsible for the accuracy of their event information, fulfillment of event promises, and compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations. Live Time facilitates ticketing and payment processing but is not the organizer of third-party events. Service fees may apply to transactions and are disclosed at the time of purchase.

6. Payments & Fees

Live Time uses third-party payment processors (including Stripe) to handle transactions. By making or receiving payments through the Platform, you agree to the applicable payment processor's terms of service. Live Time may charge service fees on transactions, which will be clearly disclosed before any purchase is completed.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Live Time Technologies, Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you submit to the Platform but grant Live Time a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with the Platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Live Time Technologies, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Platform. Live Time is not responsible for the actions of event hosts, attendees, or other users.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
